Winning Campaigns Training August 2-4
You love to bicycle. You and your fellow cyclists have ideas about how to make bicycling safe and accessible in your community and across New York State. You know that bicycling for transportation, exercise and recreation provides tremendous benefits. So isn’t it time to share your passion, ideas and knowledge with decision-makers?!
You can start here – the Alliance for Biking & Walking Winning Campaigns Training in White Plains, NY on August 2-4, 2013! Led by longtime advocates and national experts, this popular training teaches participants how to:
- Identify and map the key decision-makers
- Craft a persuasive message to rally members and policy makers
- Use media outlets to communicate to a broad audience
- Become an effective fundraiser
- And much more!
The workshop is hosted by New York Bicycling Coalition and Bike Walk Alliance of Westchester Putnam Counties, in partnership with our neighbors at New Jersey Bike Walk Coalition and Walk Bike Connecticut, and facilitated by Alliance staff and consultants who will help you create a detailed blueprint to chart your path to campaign victory.
The Winning Campaigns Training isn’t a class, it’s a fun, interactive, inspiring experience that re-energizes you and connects you with your fellow advocates. Early registrations must be received by Fri, July 12, 2013and cost $75 for Alliance members; $125 for non-members. Regular Registrations cost $100 for Alliance members; $150 for non-members
