DRIVER’S ED INSTRUCTOR TRAINING
NYBC provides a successful two-hour training for people completing certification to become driver’s education instructors. In a train the trainer model, NYBC instructs these future instructors on the rules of the road relative to bicycling. What are the laws that dictate the behavior of bicycles as vehicles? How can motorists and bicyclists learn to coexist peacefully on the roadway? We have provided this training on an annual basis in cooperation with AAA.
