The NYBC Toolkit

The NYBC Resource Toolkit and CD-ROM TOOLKIT IS ONLINE NOW!It has photos, videos and general resources for hosting a local workshop. Thanks to BeActive NY for making this available on the web and the Governor's Traffic Safety Committee for production of the cd.

The CD Toolkit was produced after the Spring 2002 workshops and has footage from the most recent work from the NY Bicycling Coalition, it was launched online in 2003.

If you want a CD copy of the Toolkit, you may e-mail us at nybc@nybc.net for a copy. There will be a nominal fee of $2 for the first copy and $1.50 for each additional copy.

Board Development

NYBC is actively seeking new board members and volunteers. We welcome activists, planners, and representatives from the private sector. Additionally, we are interested in working with individuals from agencies not traditionally aligned with bike-ped activities but who have a stake in transportation choice, e.g. tourism, handicapped, the elderly, minorities, the environment, smart growth, job training, etc. Our board members do not necessarily represent the organizations they work for, but bring to NYBC experience from many different parts of their lives.
