The New York Bicycling Coalition (NYBC) is your Bicycle Champion

We’re the only statewide bicycling advocacy organization that for the last 20 years has fought tirelessly for your rights as a bicyclist in New York State.

Every day we work strategically to bring better bicycling to your community by;

Representing you at the NY Statehouse. NYBC promotes legislation that improves safety and riding conditions for bicyclists;
Increasing funding for bicycle safety. NYBC leads an ambitious Campaign to protect precious federal dollars allocated for improving bicycle access and safety;
Working with agencies for better bicycling access on properly designed roads and bridges. NYBC believes that all bicyclists should be able to travel safely, wherever they want to, in ALL regions of the state;
Educating motorists and bicyclists with Traffic Skills Education to improve safety across the state. NYBC teaches advocates and decision‐makers how to work together via our original Complete Streets in Action one‐day training.
