The Second Vision Zero for Cities Symposium will take place on March 10th from 8 am – 5 pm and March 11th from 9 am – 1 pm, 2016. In 2014, Transportation Alternatives convened more than 300 leaders in traffic safety, law enforcement, engineering and public health to discuss one of the most important issues of our time: eliminating every death and serious injury in traffic, or Vision Zero.
Since the first conference, officials in nine U.S. cities including Los Angeles and San Antonio, Texas, have announced plans to implement the lifesaving policies of Vision Zero.
In March 2016, leading traffic safety experts, advocates, bereaved families, elected officials and the public will convene in New York for a two-day conference to:
Vision Zero Cities 2016 will be an exchange of best practices to prevent road deaths and serious injuries that will leave participants with new ideas and precise road maps for implementation.
