NAHBS is looking for volunteers to help make the event a success! Shifts are approximately 4 hours.
This position asks the volunteer to shuttle bikes and possibly their builders to the judging and photo area, as well as awards ceremony if necessary.
Door Check In
This position is a security position. We use volunteers at the front and back of the exhibition hall to keep bikes from leaving or unauthorized people entering.
This position asks the volunteer to work with our judges and photographer to prep the bikes for judging and photos. Some handling and dusting of the bikes may be required.
This position asks the volunteers to check in our media guests and distribute their credentials. This position is off the floor.
This position asks the volunteer to make sales of our NAHBS branded merchandise, and restock items as well as set up/ tear down of booth. An outgoing personality is a must and retail experience is a plus.
This position asks the volunteer to sell admission and answer basic questions about the show. Ticket sales are made with cash and credit cards using IPads. Can be fast paced at times. Outgoing personality a plus. This position is off the show floor.
This position asks the volunteer to check in seminar attendees at the door using an IPad. Also, possibly assist the speaker with basic needs such as turning on microphone, turning off lights, etc. This position is off the floor.
Set Up/Tear Down
This position asks the volunteer to “walk the floor” before the show begins on Thursday and after the show ends on Sunday evening, offering the exhibitor an extra pair of hands. This is a physical position. Familiarity with basic tools and bike tools extremely beneficial.Willingness to get dirty required.
