HEARST MEDIA CENTER, Albany, NY

Last month, we announced some workshops that Kyle Hatch and our Executive Director, Paul Winkeller, are working on. Here are some others that are in the final stages of being developed:

  • Bikes and the Environment – The Role of Bikes as Tool to Promote Sustainability
  • Bike Share is Not Just for Big Cities
  • Bike Equity in New York State
  • The Politics of Active Transportation

These were last month’s topics that were finalized:

  • Bike Ped Safety Education – utilizing new technology and NYBC’s bike educator network to improve bike safety;
  • Completing the Empire State Trail – What is it going to take?
  • Mountain Biking In New York State – A Growth Industry;
  • Open Streets Programs – what they are and how to organize them.

As you can see, NYBC is developing very timely subject matter for the Summit. Should you have any ideas or want to get involved, please contact us!
